The Nutcracker story is the same, but the performance will includes hip-hop, tap, jazz, contemporary, and acrobatics in addition to classical ballet. Some modern music is also mixed in with the original Tchaikovsky classical music.

Southstar Dance Academy is bringing a new twist to Tchaikovsky’s timeless classic, featuring a variety of dance styles from hip-hop, to Bollywood for this year. SSDA production will have mixes  of old favorites and new pieces from hip-hop, to acro, tap, jazz and ballet and more. The NUTCRACKER ReMix is going to be one of the most entertaining shows of the holiday season.
